About Otaki Early Learning Centre
Otaki Early Learning is a purpose built childcare centre designed with two serperate areas for our younger tamariki (under two year olds) and our preschoolers (over two year olds). We are open from 7:30am to 5:30pm.
To ensure that your tamaiti is in an age appropriate learning environment, we have two classrooms to support and extend your tamaiti learning. The classrooms are split into Nursery (3 months to 2 Years) and preschool (2 years to 5 years old). Within our nursery environment we follow the lead of your tamariki taking into account their sleep and bottle times trying to align this with what they would usually do at home. We have a specially designed outside environment where our younger tamariki can explore and master their skills in a safe nurturing environment.
Our preschool offers a large inside and outside environment where tamariki can freely explore at their own pace. We provide a range of resources that are appropriate for the variety of ages within the preschool. We support our older tamariki to foster strong bonds with younger tamariki to develop a sense of responsibility and leadership.
For the convenience of working parents, our childcare centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 5:30pm.
