Tameka Solomon
Head Teacher
Kia Ora whanau, my name is Tameka. I am part of the teaching team here at Waikanae Beach Kids and my role is the head teacher.
I studied through Te Rito Maioha where I gained a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE). I live in Levin with my partner and our two dogs. I have been in ECE for a few years now and it is an absolute passion of mine – I love coming to work each day. One of the best things about being an early childhood teacher is seeing the influence and impact we have on our tamariki. It is by far one of the most rewarding jobs ever. Some of my greatest interests are walking, being with friends and family, visiting the beach and teaching our little people. -
