Waikanae Beach Kids is a home away from home, where tamariki have the opportunities to build strong relationships with one another and their kaiako. We believe tamariki need to lead their own learning and kaiako foster this through supporting their individual interests and plan for each individual child. We provide a range of learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, from going on excursions to the Kapiti Gymnastics Club and local lagoons and parks as well setting up exciting learning opportunities within the centre. Tamariki will be able to access and hone their skills in writing, mathematics, role play, art and physical movement. We love to celebrate the success of our tamariki and display work on our walls, facebook pages and monthly newsletter.
