About Our Centre
Farmhouse Preschool and Nursery located in rural Levin, offers a rich and inviting natural environment with large spaces for tamariki to explore at their own pace. We have four separate classrooms centered on the differing ages and stages of each tamariki. The curriculum is designed specifically to support tamariki to explore the natural world through caring for a variety of animals and fostering a love of nature. We offer great experiences such as horse riding and grooming, bottle feeding lambs as well as supporting the individual interests of tamariki by creating exciting mahi within the classrooms for tamariki to freely explore. Our opening and closing hours are designed to support whanau with the hustle and bustle of daily life, where tamariki can attend from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Our Programme
Our environment is rich in literacy and numeracy enabling tamariki natural pathways into these areas, where they become excited about learning. We are a centre that is focused on supporting tamariki develop as learners and have a deep appreciation of the learning that takes place during the first five years of tamaiti life. Farm animals are an integral part of our curriculum, and we integrate this into all aspects of learning. Each classroom has an individual focus based on the ages and stages of your tamaiti.
