About Our Centre
Here at ŌELC we strive to create an inclusive, fun, nurturing and positive learning environment that celebrates and values all the differences and uniqueness that each tamaiti and whānau bring to us. It is our aim to develop strong, respectful and reciprocal relationships with ngā tamariki as well as parents and wider whānau joining us here at ŌELC. Our kaiako here at ŌELC all come with their own set of values and uniqueness too, yet all connecting on their passion for being part of a creating positive learning community full of our littlest minds.
Te Whāriki underpins our philosophy and kaupapa here at ŌELC, with our focus always being on reaching positive learning outcomes for our tamaiti. Relationships, Family & Community, Holistic Development and Empowerment are the overarching principles that guide our work here at kaiako. ŌELC has a commitment to ensure tamariki are safe, supported and nurtured in their learning environment, providing the foundations for learning and development. We love and appreciate any whānau involvement and we want you all to be as much a part of our learning community as your tamaiti.

Our Programme
Our environment is rich in literacy and numeracy enabling tamariki natural pathways into these areas to be supported. We are a centre that is focused on supporting tamariki develop as learners and have a deep appreciation of the learning that take place during the first five years of tamaiti life.
